A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO SUBMIT AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL PERSONNEL
ACT OF 1970 FEDERAL GRANT APPLICATION IN
THE AMOUNT or $25, 000 TO INITIATE A PROJECT
ENTITLED "MANAGEMENT TRAINING PROGRAM"
AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CIT''Y MANAGER
TO ACCEPT THE GRANT AND EXECUTE CONTRACTS
AND AGREEMENTS NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THE
PROJECT UPON RECEIPT OF THE GRANT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to submit an
Intergovernmental Personnel Act of 1970 Federal Grant Application to
initiate a project entitled "Management Training Program" is hereby
confirmed.
Section 2. That the City Manager is further authorized to
accept a Federal Grant in the amount of $25, 000 and execute contracts
and agreements necessary to implement the project upon receipt of the
Grant.
