HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-74-11893 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 MEA/cs 10/2/74 RESOLUTION NO. 74.-11.89 A RESOLUTION CLOSING AND ABANDONING THE PORTIONS OF THE PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS LYING WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF TRACT "A", MOORE PARK (86-45). WHEREAS, the City of Miami is planning to demolish the present fire station #6, located on the southerly por- tion of Tract "A", Moore Park (86-45) and replace it with a new fire station building; and WHEREAS, the new fire station building will be larger than the original structure and would encroach in the public utility easements as shown on Tract "A", Moore Park (86-45); and WHEREAS, all the utility companies have indicated that they would interpose no objection to closing and abandoning the portions of the aforesaid easements; and WHEREAS, it is recommended by the Department of Public Works that the portions of the public utility ease- ments as shown on said Tract "A", Moore Park be closed and abandoned; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COIrMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the portions of the public utility easements lying within the boundaries of Tract "A", Moore Park, as recorded in Plat Book 86, at Page 45, of the Public Records, except the west five (5) feet of the north seventy-five (75) feet of the south two hundred and three and eighty -hundredths (203.80) feet of said Tract "A", be and ITEM NO. / // CITY COMMISSION MEETING OF OCT. 4 RESOLUTION NO.
