A RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION #74-1095
AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A PERMIT TO
THE JUNIOR NAVAL CADETS OF AMERICA; THE FREE
AND ACCEPTED LODGE #96; AND THE NEW LIFE
LODGE #504 TO HOLD A FUND-RAISING CARNIVAL
FROM DECEMBER 5TH THROUGH DECEMBER 8TH, 1974
AT THE SHELL CITY PARKING LOT, N.W. 58TH
STREET AND 6TH COURT, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN
TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A permit be, and is hereby, authorized
to be issued to The Junior Naval Cadets of America; The
Free and Accepted Lodge #96; and The New Life Lodge #504 to
hold a fund-raising carnival from December 5th through
December 8th, 1974 at the Shell City Parking Lot, N. W.
58th Street and 6th Court from December 5th through Decem-
ber
8th, 1974, subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Such use shall not be established for a
period exceeding seven days, nor shall any
one location be used more often than once
a year.
2. The operators of the amusement rides shall
obtain the necessary licenses, permits and
Certificate of Use.
3. Small tents shall be permitted only to carry
on ride activities.
4. The operators of the amusement rides will
provide separate sanitary facilities for
both male and female patrons.
5. The operators and employees of the rides
will not domicile on the property.
6. Alcoholic beverages may not be sold on the
premises.

7. The City of Miami police Department will
be contacted and the number of off -duty
policemen that the Department feels are
necessary to direct traffic and provide
for security will be employed by The
Junior Naval Cadets of America.
Section 2. Resolution #74-1095 be, and is hereby
rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10 day of OCTOBER
1974.
