A RESOLUTION RATII`YXNG THE ACTION OF
THE CITY MANAGER IN ENGAGING THE
SERVICES OP AMAMI CRANE SERVX CE E I NC .
FOR THE EMERGENCY SITUATION CREATED
8Y THE COLLAPSE OF A DOWNTOWN BUILDING;
AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
FINANCE DIRECTOR TO ALLOCATE THE AMOUNT
OF $2,913.00 FROM AN APPROPRIATE
ACCOUNT TO BE DETERMINED BY THE CITY
MANAGER AS FULL AND FINAL PAYMENT TO
MIAMI CRANE SERVICE, INC.
WHEREAS, an emergency situation created by the
collapse of a downtown building, necessitated the utiliza-
tion of MIAMI CRANE SERVICE, INC.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The action of the City Manager in
engaging the services of MIAMI CRANE SERVICE, INC. be, and
is hereby, ratified for the emergency situation created by
the collapse of a downtown building.
Section 2. The City Manager be, and is hereby,
authorized to direct the Finance Director to allocate the
amount of $2,913.00 from an appropriate account to be
determined by the City Manager as full and final payment
to MIAMI CRANE SERVICE, INC.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10 day of OCTOBER
1974.
