ORDINANCE AMENDMENT - SPECIAL PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
DISTRICTS
* Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 6871, the Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance for the City of Miami, by adding to
the General Provisions, Article IV, a new Section 43,
entitled "Special Planned Development Districts" pro-
viding for (1) Intent, (2) SPD Districts, Where
Permitted, (3) Effect of SPD District Designation,
(4) Procedures for Securing Approval of a Special
Planned Development Application, (5) Variations from
General Regulations Applying in a Special Planned
Development (SPD) District, and (6) Conflicts with
Other Provisions of the Zoning Ordinance, as herein-
after set forth; repealing all ordinances, Code sections,
or parts thereof in conflict, insofar as they are in
conflict; and containing a severability provision.
ORDINANCE AMENDMENT - SPD-1 ISLAND DISTRICT
Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 6871, the Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance for the City of Miami, to include a new
zoning district, Article XXI-3, SPD-1 Central Island
District: providing for Intent, Use Regulations, Minimum
Gross Area of District, Application Requirements and
Procedures, Floor Area Ratio and Bonus Provisions,
Special Limitations on Lot or Building Site Coverage
by All Buildings at Various Elevations, Open Space
Requirements, Special Yard and Open Space Requirements,
Elevated Circulation Routes, Spacing Between Buildings
or Portions of Buildings, Variations from General Regula-
tions Applying in SPD-1 CI District, Conflicts with
Other Provisions of Zoning Ordinance, Parking Require-
ments, and Sign Limitations; repealing all ordinances,
Code sections, or parts thereof in conflict insofar as
they are in conflict; containing a severability provision;
and providing for an effective date.
BISCAYNE BAY AT MOUTH OF MIAMi RIVER
* Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 6871, the Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance for the City of Miami, by changing the
zoning classification for the unplatted property commonly
known as "CLAUGHTON OR BURLINGAME ISLAND", located at
Biscayne Bay at the mouth of the Miami River, from R-4
(Medium Density Multiple) to the proposed SPD-1 (Central
Island District) and by making the necessary changes in
the zoning district map, made a part of the said ordinanc
No. 6871, by reference and description in Article III,
Section 2 thereof; by repealing all ordinances, Code
sections or parts thereof in conflict;and containing a
severability provision.
