A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF CHILDSCAPES
COMPANY FOR SUPPLIES FOR THREE (3) MODEL DAY
CARE CENTERS IN THE CITY OF MIAMI AT A COST
OF $23,523.88;; ALLOCATING SAID AMOUNT PROM
THE 1972 PARK AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES
BOND FUND; PLUS THE AMOUNT OF $150.00 FOR
ADVERTISING AND ENGINEERING COSTS, TOTALLING
$23,673.88; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT TO ISSUE
PURCHASE ORDERS FOR SAME AFTER FIRST HAVING
DETERMINED THAT FUNDS BUDGETED FOR THIS
PURPOSE ARE AVAILABLE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids
were received September 18, 1974 for furnishing supplies
for three (3) MODEL DAY CARE CENTERS IN THE CITY OF MIAMI;
and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends CHILDSCAPES
COMPANY be accepted as the most advantageous bid to the
City at a cost of $23,523.88, plus $150.00 for advertising
and engineering costs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid for .furnishing_ supplies for
three (3) MODEL DAY CARE CENTERS IN THE CITY OF MIAMI at a
cost of $23,523.88. be,and is hereby, accepted;-plusctbe
amoOnt. of- $150.00 for advertising and engineering costs,
totalling $23,673.88 from CHILDSCAPES COMPANY.
Section 2. The City Manager be, and is hereby,
authorized to allocate the amount of $23,673.88 from the
1972 PARK AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES BOND FUND.

Section 3. The City Manager be, and is hereby,
authorized to instruct the Purchasing Department to issue
purchase orders for the aforementioned after first having
determined that funds budgeted for this purpose are
available.
