A RESOLUTION DISMISSING THE APPEAL OF

CITY MANAGER, CASE NO. 74-8519; AUTHOR-
IZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO PAY TO
ALBERT J. SCHIPPAUER THE SUM OP $414.25,

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of
the City to dismiss the appeal in the case of Police
Lieutenant Albert J. Schiffauer for disciplinary charges
preferred against him on November 7, 1973; and
WHEREAS, costs have been incurred by Petitioner
in the amount of $414.25;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The appeal of Albert J. Schiffauer vs.
P. W. Andrews, City Manager, Case No. 74-8519 be, and the same
is hereby dismissed upon the advice and recommendation of
John S. Lloyd, City Attorney.
Section 2. The Director of Finance be, and is
hereby, authorized to pay to Albert J. Schiffauer the sum
of $414.25 for costs incurred in connection with this case.
