RESOLUTION NO. Try_ I/4
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE FIRMS OF WALLACE,
McHARG, ROBERTS AND TODD; ROGERS, TALIAFERRO,
KOSTRITSKY AND LAMB; AND BARTON-ASCHMAN ASSOCIATES,
IN THE ORDER OF PREFERENCE, AS THE THREE (3) CON-
SULTANTS RECOMMENDED TO THE CITY MANAGER FOR THE
MIAMI COMPREHENSIVE NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT PLAN.
WHEREAS, the administration has concluded consultant
selection procedures consistent with the Florida Consultants'
Competitive Negotiation Act of 1972 and of the American
Institute of Planners Consultant Selection Procedures; and
WHEREAS, letters of interest were solicited from a
list of thirteen (13) urban planning consulting firms in the
Eastern United States on December 5, 1973, of which ten (10)
firms responded; and
WHEREAS, three (3) firms were recommended by the admin-
istration and they presented their background, experience
and ability to perform to the City Commission on February
28, 1974;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The firms of WALLACE, McHARG, ROBERTS AND
TODD; ROGERS, TALIAFERRO, KOSTRITSKY AND LAMB and BARTON-
ASCHMAN ASSOCIATES, be, and they are hereby selected, in
the order of preference, as the three (3) consultants recom-
mended to the City Manager for the selection of a consultant
for the Miami Comprehensive Neighborhood Development Plan.
