A RESOLUTION' WAIVING THE RENTAL FEE FOR
MIAMI STADIUM FOR USE BY MIAMI bADE
COMMUNITY COLLEGE, DOWNTOWN CAMPUS,
FOR THE PURPOSE OF CON3UCTING ITS BASE-
BALL PRACTICE SESSIONS SEPTEMBER 15, 1974,
THROUGH AND INCLUDING DECEMBER 1, 1974,
SUBJECT TO PAYMENT OF LIGHTS, INSURANCE
AND OTHER DIRECT COSTS CHARGED BY THE
CITY, IN ADVANCE
WHEREAS, the Miami -Dade Community College, Downtown Campus,
currently has no access to a facility in which to conduct its baseball practice
sessions; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami is desirous of fostering harmonious
relationships with the Miami -Dade Community College, Downtown Campus; and
WHEREAS, the City is interested in the development of the athletic pro-
gram of the Miami -Dade Community College, Downtown Campus;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the rental fee is hereby waived for Miami Stadium for
use by Miami Dade Community College, Downtown Campus for the purpose of
conducting its baseball practice sessions September 15, 1974, through and in-
cluding December 1, 1974, subject to payment of lights, insurance and other
direct costs charged by the City of Miami,, in advance.
