RESOLUTION NO.7
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID OF DE BRA
TURF & INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT CO. FOR FURNISH-
ING ONE (1) 76" REEL MOWER FOR USE BY THE
DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION AT A
COST OF $2,430.00; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DEPART-
MENT TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR SAME;
ALLOCATING FUNDS FOR THIS PURPOSE FROM THE
FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids
were received July 29, 1974 for furnishing one (1) 76" reel
mower for use by the Department of Parks and Recreation; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to twelve (12)
potential suppliers and one (1) bid was received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid
of DE BRA TURF & INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT CO. which is the only
responsive bid be accepted at a total cost of $2,430.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received July 29, 1974 from
DeBRA TURF & INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT CO. for furnishing one (1)
76" reel mower for use by the Department of Parks and Recreation
be, and is hereby accepted at a cost of $2,430.00.
Section 2. The City Manager be, and is hereby
authorized to instruct the Purchasing Department to issue a
Purchase Order for same; allocating funds for this purpose
