A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID RECEIVER

INC. IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $7,971

RESURFACING 1974; AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH
SAID FIRM.

WHEREAS, bids were received August 15, 1974 for the
LUMMUS PARK - SHUFFLEBOARD COURT RESURFACING - 1974; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $7,971
bid of Biscayne Construction, Inc. is the lowest responsive
bid and recommends that a contract be awarded to said firm; and
WHEREAS, funds have been allocated from the account
entitled "Public Parks and Recreational Facilities Bond Fund"
for this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The August 15, 1974 bid of Biscayne
Construction, Inc. in the estimated amount of $7,971 for the
project entitled LUMMUS PARK - SHUFFLEBOARD COURT RESURFACING -
1974, namely Base Bid of Proposal, based on lump sum bid be,
and the same is hereby accepted at the prices stated therein.
Section 2. The City Manager be, and is hereby,
authorized to enter into a Contract on behalf of The City of
Miami with Biscayne Construction, Inc. for the LUMMUS PARK -
SHUFFLEBOARD COURT RESURFACING - 1974.
