A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ACTION TAKEN4
BY THE CITY MANAGER IN THE SUBMISSION OF A •
STATE GRANT APPLICATION TO THE DEPARTMENT
OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS UNDER THE STATE'S
ASSISTANCE FOR COMMUNITY SERVICES PROGRAM
TO INITIATE A PROGRAM THAT WILL PROVIDE
COMMUNITY/DAY CARE SERVICES AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT
THE GRANT AND EXECUTE CONTRACTS AND AGREE-
MENTS NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THE PROGRAM
UPON RECEIPT OF THE GRANT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the action taken by the City Manager in the
submission of a State Grant application to the Department of Community
Affairs under the State's assistance for Community Services Program
to initiate a program that will provide Community/Day Care Services is
hereby confirmed.
Section 2. That the City Manager is further authorized to
accept the Grant and execute contracts and agreements necessary to
implement the program upon receipt of the Grant.
