A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO MONA LVDTIG, WITHOUT THE
ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE SUM OF $46.80
IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLEMENT OF ALL CLAIMS
AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE CITY OF MIAMI, UPON
THE EXECUTION OP A RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY
OF MIAMI FROM ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, MONA LUDWIG, filed a claim against the City
of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $46.80 by loss
of a "Tree Spirit" girls white bicycle, which had been stolen
from her, was recovered by the City of Miami Police Department
and was subsequently sold at auction on January 24, 1974, and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this claim
be settled for the sum of $46.80.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to MONA LUDWIG, without admission of
liability, the sum of $46.80 in full and complete settlement of
all claims and demands against the City of Miami, upon the ex-
ecution of a release releasing the City of Miami frpm all claims
and demands.
