A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TfIE DIRECTOR OP PR ANCE
TO PAY TO JUANA RODRIGUEZ, A MINOR, AND PEDRO
RODRIGUEZ, HER FEATHER AND NEXT FRIEND, WITHOUT
THE ADMISSION OP LIABILITY, THE SUM OF $ 300.00
IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLEMENT OP ALL CLAIMS
AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE
EXECUTION OF A RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI
FROM ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, JUANA RODRIGUEZ, a minor, through Pedro Rod-
rigues, her father and next friend, filed a claim against the
City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $300.00
allegedly resulting from a fall over a broken traffic sign
in a City sidewalk at or near N.W. 20th Street and N.W. loth
Avenue, on November 9, 1973, in the City of Miami, and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this claim
be settled for the sum of $300.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is here-
by authorized to pay to Juana Rodriguez and Pedro Rodriguez, with-
out the admission of liability, the sum of $300.00 in full and complete s
settlement of all claims and demands against the City of Miami, upon
the execution of a release releasing the City of Miami from all
claims and demands.
