A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED
WORK PERFORMED BY MARKS BROTHERS COMPANY
AT A TOTAL COST OF $152,801; AND AUTHORIZ-
ING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE
PROPER OFFICIALS TO MAKE A FINAL PAYMENT
OF $15,280.10 FOR THE WESTERN DRAINAGE
PROJECT E-30.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated November 12,
1973 between the City of Miami and MARKS BROTHERS COMPANY; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and MARKS BROTHERS COMPANY has furnished the required docu-
ments certifying that all bills for labor, materials, etc.
have been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid
contract; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends
that the completed work be accepted and final payment made
to the Contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by MARKS
BROTHERS COMPANY for the construction of WESTERN DRAINAGE
PROJECT E-30 be, and is hereby, accepted at a total cost
of $152,801.
Section 2. The proper officials of The City of
Miami be, and are hereby, authorized to pay MARKS BROTHERS
COMPANY, after all conditions are met, a final payment of
$15,280.10 as full and final payment in connection with
