A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING DEEPEST SYMPATHY AND
CONDOLENCES OP THE MAYOR ANb COMMISSIONERS
OP THE CITY or MIAMI AS WELL AS ALL OF THE
CITIZENS AND EMPLOYEES OP THE CITY OF MIAMI
TO THE PAMIL'Y OP THE LATE DAMES H. ECHOLS
WHOSE PASSING HAS DEPRIVED THIS COMMUNITY
OP A MOST RESPECTED CITIZEN AND EMPLOYEE.

WHEREAS, JAMES H. ECHOLS, joined the staff of the
Building and Zoning Department of the City of Miami in 1945 rising
to the position of Supervisor; and
WHEREAS, JAMES H. ECHOLS, acted in the capacity of
Past Potentate in the Mahi Shrine;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Mayor and Commissioners of the City of
Miami, Florida, as well as all of the citizens and employees of
the City of Miami, hereby express their deepest sympathy and
condolences to the members of the family of the late JAMES H.
ECHOLS whose untimely death has deprived this community of a
most respected citizen and employee.
