A RESOLUTION ER ;SSING CONDOLENCES AND
DEEPEST SYMPATHY OF THE MAYOR AND COM-
MISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI AND THE
CITIZENS OF GREATER MIAMI TO THE FAMILY
OF THE LATE JOHN B. ORR.
WHEREAS, JOHN B. ORR served as Mayor of Metropolitan
Dade County; and
WHEREAS, JOHN B. ORR was untiring in his efforts to
protect the interests of all of the inhabitants of Dade County;
and
WHEREAS, the untimely death of JOHN B. ORR, Mayor
of Metropolitan Dade County, on this 25th day of July, 1974
will deprive the citizens of Greater Miami of one of its ablest
leaders;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Maurice A. Ferre, Mayor; Manolo Reboso,
Vice -Mayor; Commissioners Theodore R. Gibson, Rose Gordon, and
J. L. Plummer, Jr., in behalf of all of the citizens of Greater
Miami, hereby express condolences and deepest sympathy to the
members of the family of JOHN B. ORR in his untimely passing.
