A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF GERSTENSLAGER
COMPANY, RECEIVED MAY 16, 1974, rOR FURNISHING
ONE MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS VEHICLE AT A TOTAL
COST OF $58, 449 FOR THE COMMUNICATIONS DEPART-
MENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DIVISION TO ISSUE A
PURCHASE ORDER TIER EFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received on May 16, 1974 for furnishing
one Mobile Communications Vehicle for the Communications Department,
and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
Gerstenslager Company, for furnishing said Mobile Communications
Vehicle, at a total cost of $58,449 be accepted as the bid most advantageous
to the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Gerstenslager Company, received on
May 16, 1974, for furnishing one Mobile Communications Vehicle at a
total cost of $58,449 for the Communications Department is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to
instruct the Purchasing Division to issue a purchase order therefor from
funds provided in the Public Properties Equipment Replacement Reserve.
