A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID OF AD-A-LITE
ELECTRIC, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $50,636.00
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF KENNEDY PARK
COMFORT STATION - 1974; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT
OF $50,636.00 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED
"CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND - UNALLOCATED FUNDS"
TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING FROM
SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $5,063.00 TO COVER
THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM
SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $1,012.00 TO COVER
THE COST OF ADVERTISING, TESTING LABORATORIES
AND POSTAGE, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM.
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received July 12, 1974 for the
construction of KENNEDY PARK - COMFORT STATION - 1974; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $50,636.00
bid of AD-A-LITE ELECTRIC, INC. is the lowest responsive bid
and recommends that a contract be awarded to said firm; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the
account entitled "Capital Improvement Fund - Unallocated
Funds" for the amount of the contract, for project expense,
and for such items as advertising, testing laboratories, and
postage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the July 12, 1974 bid of AD-A-LITE
ELECTRIC, INC. in the amount of $50,636.00 for the project
entitled KENNEDY PARK - COMFORT STATION - 1974, namely
Items 1, 2B and 3 of the Proposal, based on lump sum bid,

REMARKS:
Section 2. That the amount of $50.636.00 be and is
hereby allocated from the account entitled "Capital Improve-
ment Fund - UNALLOCATED FUNDS", to cover the cost of the
contract.
Section 3. That the amount of $5,063.00 be and is
hereby allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the
cost of project expense which includes engineering, surveys
and inspection work performed by City forces.
Section 4. That the amount of $1,012.00 be and is
hereby allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost
of advertising, testing laboratories and postage.
Section 5. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to
enter into a contract on behalf of the City of Miami with
AD-A-LITE ELECTRIC, INC. for the construction of KENNEDY PARK -
COMFORT STATION - 1974.
