A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID OF DICTAPHONE
CORP. IN THE AMOUNT OP $35,781.12 FOR ONE
(1) MODEL 4402 LOG RECORDER AND ONE HUNDRED
(100) ROLLS OF RECORDING TAPE TO REPLACE
THE EXISTING RECORDING EQUIPMENT IN THE
COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT AT 65 S.W. 1ST
STREET; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO INSTRUCT THE PROPER OFFICIALS TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME, FUNDING TO
BE SET UP IN THE RENTAL CODE AS A LEASE/
PURCHASE FROM BUDGETED FUNDS, WITH THE PRO-
VISION THAT IF FEDERAL FUNDS BECOME AVAILABLE
WITHIN THE YEAR THE EQUIPMENT WILL BE PAID
OFF WITH NO PENALTY.
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received July 22, 1974
for furnishing one (1) 40 Channel Dual Tape Recorder System
for use by the Communications Department at 65 S. W. 1st
Street; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to twelve (12)
potential suppliers and one (1) bid was received as
follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:

Section 1. That the July 22, 1974 bid of DICTAPHONE
CORP. be, and is hereby, accepted in the amouht of $35,781.12
for one (1) Model 4402 Log Recorder and one hundred (100) rolls
of Recording Tape to replace the existing recording equipment
in 'the Communications Department at 65 S. W. 1st Street.
Section 2. That the City Manager instruct the
proper officials to execute a contract for same, funding to be
set up in the rental code as a lease/purchase from budgeted
funds, with the provision that if Federal Funds become available
within the year the equipment will be paid off with no penalty.
