A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF DELRAN
BINDERY & SPECIALTY CO. FOR FURNISHING BINDERS
AT A COST OF $1,500.00;AND STANDARD PRINTING
FOR PRINTING OPERATIONAL ORDERS AT A COST OF
$4,225.O0.. TOTALLING $5,725.00; AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING
DEPARTMENT TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS FOR SAME,
FUNDS HAVING BEEN PROVIDED IN THE FEDERAL
REVENUE SHARING - POLICE EXPANSION PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, bids were received July 15, 1974 for soliciting
competitive prices for furnishing binders and the printing of
operational orders for the Miami Police Department; and
WHEREAS, bids were requested from eight (8) potential
suppliers and seven (7) were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bids of
Delran Bindery & Specialty Co. for furnishing binders at a cost
of $1,500.00; and Standard Printing for printing operational
orders at a cost of $4,225.00 be accepted at a total amount of
$5,725.00 as they were the most advantageous bids to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bids received July 15, 1974 from
Delran Bindery & Specialty Co. for furnishing binders at a cost
of $1,500.00; and Standard Printing for printing operational
orders at a cost of $4,225.00, totalling $5,725.00 are hereby
accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
instruct the Purchasing Department to issue Purchase Orders for
same, funds having been provided in the Federal Revenue Sharing -
