A RESOLUTION GIVING AUTHORITY TO THE CITY MANAGER
TO AWARD THE Bib FOR THE DAY CARE CENTER PLAY..
GROUND EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLATION DURING THE
ABSENCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION IN AUGUST AND THAT
THE CITY COMMISSION RATIFY THIS ACTION AT THE
FIRST APPROPRIATE COMMISSION MEETING FOLLOWING
THEIR RETURN.
WHEREAS, bids are scheduled to be advertised July 25,
1974 and opened August 9, 1974 for Center Playground Equipment
and Installation; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission will not meet during the
month of August and this playground equipment is necessary to
facilitate the opening of the Centers in early fall;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby given the
authority to award the bid for the Day Care Center Playground
Equipment and Installation during the absence of the City Commis-
sion in August.
Section 2. The City Commission shall ratify this
action at the first appropriate commission meeting following
their return.
