A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ACTION TAKEN BY
THE CITY MANAGER IN ENTERING INTO AN AGREE-
MENT BY AND BETWEEN THE MANPOWER. PLANNING
COUNCIL FOR DADE AND MONROE COUNTIES, AND
THE CITY OF MIAMI PURSUANT TO CITY RESOLUTION
NO. 74-605, TO IMPLEMENT A MIAIvII RECREATION
SUPPORT PROGi.AM.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami is an integral part of the Manpower
Consortium Agreement for Dade and Monroe Counties; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami is eligible, under the Agreement,
to receive funds to operate programs funded by the Department of Labor; and
WHEREAS, disadvantaged young residents of the City of Miami
will be in need of recreational activities during the summer:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA!
Section 1. That the action taken by the City Manager in entering
into an agreement by and between the Manpower Planning Council for Dade
and Monroe Counties, and the City of Miami pursuant to City Resolution
No. 74-605, to implement a Miami Recreation Support Program is hereby
confirmed.
