A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID OP STONE PAVING
CO. IN THE AMOUNT OF $124,525.00 FOR THE CON-
STRUCTION OF S.W. 22 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
H-4369 IN S.W. 22 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT H-4369 FOR BID ITEM B OF PROPOSAL; ALLO-
CATING THE AMOUNT OF $124,525.00 FROM THE ACCOUNT
ENTITLED "STORM SEWER BOND FUND" TO COVER THE
CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $12,452.50
FROM THE "STORM SEWER BOND FUND" TO COVER THE COST
OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF
$2,490.50 FROM THE "STORM SEWER BOND FUND" TO
COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING,
TESTING LABORATORIES, POSTAGE, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID
FIRM.
WEEREAS, sealed bids were received on July 25, 1974
for the construction of S.W. 22 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4369
in S.W. 22 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4369; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $124,525.00
bid of Stone Paving Co. for bid item B of the proposal is the low-
est and best responsive bid and recommends that a Contract be
awarded to said firm; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the
account entitled "STORM SEWER FUND" for the amount of the Contract,
for Project Expense; and for such items as Advertising, Testing
Laboratories, and Postage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMi, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the July 25, 1974 bid of Stone Paving
Co. in the amount of $124,525.00 for the project entitled S. W.
22 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4369 in S.W. 22 STREET HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4369, namely Bid Item B of Proposal, based
on unit prices, be and the same is hereby, accepted at the price
stated therein.

REMARKS:
Section 2. That the amount of $124,525.00 be, and
it is hereby, allocated from the account entitled "Storm Sewer
Bond Fund" to cover the cost of the Contract.
Section 3. That the amount of $12,452.50 from the
"Storm Sewer Bond Fund" be, and the same is hereby, allocated to
cover the cost of Project Expense which includes engineering,
surveys and inspection work performed by City Forces.
Section 4. That the amount of $2,490.50 from the
"Storm Sewer Bond Fund" be, and the same is hereby, allocated
to cover the cost of such items ad Advertising, Testing Labora-
tories, and Postage.
Section 5. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby
authorized to enter into a Contract on behalf of The City of Miami
with Stone Paving Co. for the construction of S. W. 22 STREET
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4369 in S.W. 22 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT H-4369.
