A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID OF
DMP CORPORATION
IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $ 104, 882.00
FOR NORTH 71 STREET DRAINAGE PROJECT - 1974;
ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $ 104, 882.00 FROM
THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "STORM SEWER BOND FUND"
TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING FROM SAID
ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $ 10, 488.20 TO COVER THE
COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID
ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $ 2,097.80 TO COVER THE COST
OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, TESTING LABORATORIES
AND POSTAGE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM.
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on July 23, 1974 for
the construction of NORTH 71 STREET DRAINAGE PROJECT - 1974; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $ 104,882.00
bid of DMP CORPORATION
is the
lowest responsive bid and recommends that contract be awarded to
said firm; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the
account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond Fund" for the total amount
of the contract for Project Expense; and for such items as
advertising, testing laboratories and postage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the July 23, 1974 bid of
DMP CORPORATION in the total amount of $ 104, 882.00
for the project entitled NORTH 71 STREET DRAINAGE PROJECT - 1974,
namely alternate base biof proposal, based on unit prices, be, and
the same is hereby, accepted at the price stated therein.

be, and it is hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account
to cover the cost of project expense which includes
engineering, surveys and inspection work performed by City
Forces.
Section 4. That the amount of $ 2.997.8Q
be, and it is hereby allocated from the aforesaid account
to cover the cost of such items as advertising, testing
laboratories, lTpatage..
Section 5. That the City Manager be, and he
is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract on behalf
of the City of Miami with DMP CORPORATION
for the construction of NORTH 71 STREET DRAINAGE PROJECT --
