MIAMI TO WAIVE RENTAL FEE FOR USE OF BAYFRONT
PARK AUDITORIUM ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY, SEPTEMBER
1 AND 2, 1974 BY MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY ASSOCIATIONS
OF AMERICA, INC. FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF THE
JERRY LEWIS LABOR DAY MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY TELETHON,
SUBJECT TO PAYMENT OF EVENT PERSONNEL, LIGHTS,
INSURANCE AND OTHER DIRECT COSTS BORNE BY THE
CITY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager be authorized to instruct the
proper officials of the City of Miami to waive rental fee for use of
Bayfront Park Auditorium on Sunday and Monday, September 1 and 2, 1974
by Muscular Dystrophy Associations of America, Inc. for the performance
of the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Muscular Dystrophy Telethon, subject to
payment of event personnel, lights, insurance and other direct costs
borne by the City.
