RESOLUTION NO.7r%4J
A RESOLUTION ORDERING GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVE-
MENT H-4374 AND DESIGNATING THE PROPERTY
AGAINST WHICH SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS SHALL BE
MADE FOR A PORTION OF THE COST THEREOF AS
GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H.-4374;
AND ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $3,000 FROM THE
HIGHWAY BOND FUND FOR PRELIMINARY EXPENSE.
WHEREAS, some of the streets in GARDEN HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4374 have severe drainage problems;
deteriorated pavement; some narrow streets, out of grade and
off center, with base failure, poor rideability and eroded park-
ways; and
WHEREAS, there is a definite need to improve these
streets and provide adequate drainage facilities; work to be
done in conjunction with Garden Sanitary Sewer Improvement District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A local improvement described as GARDEN
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4374 shall be made under Section 56 of the
Charter of the City of Miami as amended, located on the following
streets:

Section 2. This IMPROVEMENT shall include the
construction of pavement to a maximum 40 ft. width by means
of rebuilding with 8 inch limerock base; reworking existing base
and widening existing base, and placing a one inch asphaltic
concrete surface course. Also clearing and grading and removal
of objectionable material, construction of concrete curb and/or
gutter, valley gutter and sidewalk, landscaping and drainage
facilities as described in the Standard City of Miami Specifi-
cations for Public Works Projects.
Section 3. This IMPROVEMENT shall be designated in all
proceedings and assessments as GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4374
and the property against which special assessments shall be
made for a portion of the cost thereof, hereunder shall be
designated as GARDEN HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4374 and
the amount of $3,000 ie hereby allocated from the Highway Bond
Fund for preliminary expense.
