A RESOLUTION RATIFYING AND CONFIRMING ilk Vs
THE ACTION OF THE CITY MANAGER IN MAKING �.
APPLICATION TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTEC-
TION AGENCY FOR A FEDERAL REIMBURSABLE
GRANT UNDER PUBLIC LAW NO. 92-500 FOR
WEST 17 AVENUE SANITARY SEWER MODIFICATION
B-5255, EAST PINEMOUNT SANITARY SEWER IM-
PROVEMENT SR-5352, AND WEST PINEMOUNT SANI-
TARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5233; AND AUTHOR-
IZIN G AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
PROVIDE WHATEVER INFORMATION IS NECESSARY
TO APPLY FOR A FEDERAL REIMBURSABLE GRANT
FOR THE WEST 17 AVENUE SANITARY SEWER MODI-
FICATION B-5255, EAST PINEMOUNT SANITARY
SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5352, AND WEST PINEMOUNT
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5233, AS RE-
QUESTED BY THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY
IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA.
WHEREAS, on October 17, 1973 the City submitted
seventy-five (75) projects for Federal Reimbursable Grants
including the East Pinemount Sanitary Sewer Improvement
SR-5352 and West Pinemount Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-5233;
and
WHEREAS, on December 31, 1973 an additional seventeen
projects were submitted for Federal Reimbursable Grants which
included West 17 Avenue Sanitary Sewer Modification B-5255; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami had not previously
requested funds from the Environmental Protection Agency for
these projects; and
WHEREAS, the Environmental Protection Agency in
Atlanta, Georgia has requested additional specific information
in order to consider these projects for a Federal Reimbursable
Grant; and..
WHEREAS, the City has requested approximately
$500,000 in Federal Grants for these projects;

NOW, THERE?ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION Op
THE CITY OP MIhMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The prior actions of the City Manager be,
and are hereby, ratified and confirmed.
Section 2. The City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to submit to the Environmental
Protection Agency whatever information is necessary to secure
for the City of Miami Federal Funds to which it is entitled
under Public Law 92-500 for West 17 Avenue Sanitary Sewer Modi-
fication B-5255, East Pinemount Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-5352,
and West Pinemount Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-5233, as
requested by the Environmental Protection Agency in Atlanta,
