A RESOLUTION EXTENDtNO SYMPATHY TO THE
or ABE S. GOLDMAN,
SLY
WHEREAS, Abe S. Goldman, who died on July 16, 1974,
was a former employee of both the City of Miami and
for over thirty-five (35) years; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Goldman, was the Director of
Relations and Services for Sunland Training Centers
Dade County
Community
in the South-
east Region who headed Christmas Caravans annually, that provided
toys for local schools for the retarded and for Sunland Centers; and
WHEREAS, interalia, he was a member of Jewish War
Veterans, Beth Kodesh Synagague, past president of the Men's Club,
member of the James Carnell F & AM 223, Mahi Temple, Scottish
Rite, 33rd Degree Mason, Miami Elks No. 948,and the Supreme
Council of DeMolay;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Heartfelt sympathy is hereby extended to
the family of the late Abe S. Goldman.
