RESOLUTION NO
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO 3OHNNIEMAE ROUNDTREE AND
WILLIAM T. ROUNDTREE, HER HUSBAND, WITHOUT
THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, TEE SUM OP $778.00
IN FULL AND COMPLETE SEWLEMENT OF ALL CLAIMS
AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE
EXECUTION OF A RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY OP
MIAMI FROM ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, JOHNNIEMAE ROUNDTREE, a married woman, filed
a claim against the City of Miami for damage incurred in the
amount of $778.00, for medical expenses and loss of wages allegedly
caused by bodily injury resulting from a fall on a City sidewalk
at or near 1399 N.W. 61st Street, in the City of Miami, on or
about January 1, 1974, and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office of
the City Attorney and said office recommends that this claim be
settled for the sum of $778.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is here-
by authorized to pay to JOHNNIEMAE ROUNDTREE and William T. Round -
tree, her husband, without the admission of liability, the sum of $778.00,
in full and complete settlement of all claims and demands against
the City of Miami, upon the execution of a release releasing the
City of Miami from all claims and demands.
