A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO SUSAN JANE BLOMQVIST,
A MINOR, AND HER FATHER AND NEXT FRIEND,
ERIK Jo BLOMQVIST, JR., WITHOUT THE AD-
MISSION OF LIABILITY, THE SUM OF $60.00
IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLEMENT OF ALL
CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE CITY OF
MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A RELEASE
RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL CLAIMS
AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, SUSAN JANE BLOMQVIST, a minor, by and through
her father and next friend, Erik J. Blomqvist, Jr., filed a
claim against the City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount
of $60.00 when her Gold Triumph bicycle, indentification number
2384506, was missing from the City bicycle pound on or about
January 20, 1974, and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office of
the City Attorney and said office recommends that this claim be
settled for the sum of $60.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA.
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby.
authorized to pay to SUSAN JANE BLOMQVIST and her father, Erik J.
Blomgvist, Jr., without the admission of liability, the sum of
$60.00 in full and complete settlement of all claimsand demands
against the City of Miami, upon the execution of a release releasing
the City of Miami from all claims and demands.
