RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE, AS
LISTED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE XI, SECTION
1(5)(b), TO PERMIT DRIVE-IN TELLERS TO $E LOCATED
ON LOTS 1 THROUGH 8, BLOCK 3, PARKDAL SUB (146,36),
LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 1920 SOUTHWEST 27TH
AVENUE, AS PER PLANS ON FILE, SUBJECT TO SITE
PLAN REVIEW BY THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT, ON CONDI-
TION THAT NO TWENTY-FOUR (24) HOUR FACILITY BE
ESTABLISHED ON SAID SITE; SAID USE TO REMAIN
FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR AFTER ISSUANCE OF A
CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY; DRIVE-IN TELLERS TO
BE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE AMERICAS BANK,
LOCATED AT 2270 CORAL WAY; PROPERTY ZONED
R-C (RESIDENTIAL OFFICE).
WHEREAS, the Miami Zoning Board, at its meeting of
June 3, 1974, following an advertised hearing, adopted Reso-
lution No. ZB 78-74 by a 6 to 0 vote (one member abstaining),
granting a conditional use from Ordinance No. 6871; Article XI,
Section 1(5) (b) ; and
WHEREAS, an aggrieved party has taken his appeal to
the City Commission; and
WHEREAS, after careful consideration and due deliber-
ation of this matter, the Commission finds that in accordance
with the applicable ordinances, the applicant is entitled to
the conditional use as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the application for a conditional use,
as listed in Ordinance No. 6871, Article XI, Section 1(5)(b), to
permit drive-in tellers to be located on Lots 1 through 8,
Block 3, Parkdale Sub. (14-36), located at approximately 1920
Southwest 27th Avenue, as per plans on file, subject to site plan
review by the Planning Department, on condition that no twenty-
four hour facility be established on said site, said use to
remain for a period of one (1) year after certificate of occu-
panty; drive-in tellers to be in conjunction with Americas Bank,
located at 2270 Coral way; property zoned R-2 (Residential Office),
be and the same is hereby granted.
