A RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TO PALMETTO
FORD TRUCK SALES POR FURNISHING ONE (1)
UTILITY VAN FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI POLICE
DEPARTMENT AT A TOTAL COST OF $3,924.98;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT
THE PURCHASING DIVISION TO ISSUE A PURCHASE
ORDER POR SAME, FUNDS BEING PROVIDED FROM
THE FENCING FEDERAL GRANT #72-21-40 WHICH
EXPIRES ON JUNE 30, 1974.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were
received June 18, 1974 for furnishing one (1) Utility Van for
the City of Miami Police Department; and
WHEREAS, invitations were
potential suppliers and one (1) bid
WHEREAS, the City Manager
Palmetto Ford Truck Sales which was
mailed to twenty-one (21).

recommends that the bid of
the only bid received, be
accepted at a total cost of $3,924.98;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received June 18, 1974 for furnish-
ing one (1) Utility Van for the City of Miami Police Department
is hereby accepted at a total cost of $3,924.98.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
instruct the Purchasing Division to issue a purchase order for same,
funds being provided from the Fencing Federal Grant #72-21-40 which
expires on June 30, 1974.
