A RESOLUTION AWARD/NO THE BID OF DADE
FENCE co., INC. FOR INSTALLING FENCING
AND GATES AT THE CITY OP MIAMI FIRE
STATION NO. 5, AT A TOTAL COST OP
$2,408.80, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING
DIVISION TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER,
AFTER -FIRST HAVING DETERMINED THAT FUNDS
BUDGETED FOR THIS PURPOSE ARE AVAILABLE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were
received May 22, 1974 for installing fencing and gates at Fire
Station No. 5; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to eighteen (18)
potential suppliers and three (3) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
Dade Fence Co., Inc. be accepted at a total cost of $2,408.80
since it is the lowest and best responsive bid and further
recommends that the award be made to said corporation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received May 22, 1974 from Dade
Fence Co., Inc. for installing fencing and gates at the City of
Miami Fire Station No. 5, at a total cost of $2,408.80, is hereby
accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
instruct the Purchasing Division to issue a Purchase Order, after
first having determined that funds budgeted for this purpose are
available.
