RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF FOTOMART
FOR FURNISHING CAMERAS AND ACCESSORIES FOR
USE BY CIVILIAN IDENTIFICATION DIVISION OF
THE DEPARTMENT OF POLICE, AT A TOTAL COST
OF $2,946.33, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DIVISION
TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER, AFTER FIRST
HAVING DETERMINED THAT FUNDS BUDGETED FOR
THIS PURPOSE ARE AVAILABLE.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were
received May 8, 1974 for furnishing Cameras and Accessories
for use by Civilian Identification Division of the Department
of Police; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to eleven (11)
potential suppliers and two (2) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid
of Fotomart be accepted at a total cost of $2,946.33 since it
is the lowest and best respcnsive bid and further recommends
that the award be made to said corporation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
TUE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid received on May 8, 1974
from Fotomart for furnishing Cameras and Accessories for use by
Civilian Identification Division of the Department of Police be
and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager be authorized to
instruct the Purchasing Division to issue a purchase order,
after first having determined that funds budgeted for this
purpose are available, as follows:
