A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID OF RAYBRO
ELECTRIC SUPPLIES, INC., FOR FURNISHING
60 LENS FOR FLOODLIGHTS AND 60 LENS FOR
WIDE LITE FIXTURES FOR USE BY THE PROPERTY
MAINTENANCE DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
PUBLIC PROPERTIES, AT A COST OF $4050.00;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT
THE PURCHASING DIVISION TO ISSUE PURCHASE
ORDERS FOR SAME, AFTER FIRST HAVING
DETERMINED THAT FUNDS BUDGETED FOR THIS
PURPOSE ARE AVAILABLE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were
received May 30, 1974 for sixty (60) lens for Floodlights and
sixty (60) lens for Wide Lite Fixtures for use by the Property
Maintenance Division of the Department of Public Properties; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to fourteen (14)
potential suppliers and two (2) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
Raybro Electric Supplies, Inc. be accepted at a total cost of
$4050.00 since it is the lowest and best responsive bid and
further recommends that the award be made to said corporation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received May 30, 1974 from Raybro
Electric Supplies, Inc. for furnishing 60 lens for Floodlights and
60 lens for Wide Lite Fixtures for use by the Property Maintenance
Division of the Department of Public Properties, is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
instruct the Purchasing Division to issue Purchase Orders for same,
