A RESOLUTION APPROVING A ONE (1) YEAR
EXTENSION OF EMPLOYMENT PAST THE AGE
OF SEVENTY (70) FOR HARRY PEARLMAN,
WATCHMAN IN THE CITY OF MIAMI STADIUMS
DIVISION, EFFECTIVE FROM MAY 28, 1974
TO MAY 28, 1975, WITH THE PROVISION
THAT IN THE EVENT OF A ROLLBACK OR LAY-
OFF, MR. PEARLMAN, RATHER THAN A JUNIOR
EMPLOYEE, WOULD BE AFFECTED.

WHEREAS, the Executive Secretary, Civil Service
Board, has recommended an extension of employment past the
age of seventy (70) for Harry Pearlman, Watchman in the City
of Miami Stadiums Division, effective May 28, 1974 to May 28,
1975; and
WHEREAS, the City Physician has determined that the
physical condition of said Harry Pearlman is satisfactory for
continued employment; and
WHEREAS, the Civil Service Board has unanimously re-
commended the approval of employment past the age of seventy
(70) for said Harry Pearlman for an additional one (1) year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A one (1) year extension of employment
past the age of seventy (70) for Harry Pearlman, Watchman in
the City of Miami Stadiums Division, effective from May 28,
1974 to May 28, 1975 is hereby approved with the provision
that in the event of a rollback or layoff, Mr. Pearlman, rather
than a junior employee, would be affected.
