A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS
CENTER, UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO, FOR THE PURPOSE
OF PREPARING ENTRANCE AND PROMOTIONAL EXAM-
INATIONS FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND TO CARRY
OUT THE OTHER REQUIREMENTS AS PROVIDED IN THE
PARTIAL FINAL COURT ORDER, FUNDING OF WHICH WILL
BE PROVIDED THROUGH FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING
FUNDS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to enter into
agreement with Industrial Relations Center, University of Chicago, for the
purpose of preparing entrance and promotional examinations for the Police
Department and to carry out the other requirements as provided in the
Partial Final Court Order.
Section 2. That funding is to be provided through Federal Revenue
Sharing funds.
