A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED
CONSTRUCTION OF MARKS BROTHERS COMPANY
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF BISCAYNE EAST
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4357 IN BISCAYNE
EAST HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4357
AT A TOTAL COST OF $173,511.26; AND AUTH-
ORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $92,000.66.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract, dated July 9, 1973,
between the City of Miami and Marks Brothers Company; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and Marks Brothers Company has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor, materials, etc., have been
paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held before the City
Commission on June 27, 1974, to hear any objections to the com-
pleted improvements; and, no objections were sustained; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends
that the completed work be accepted and final payment made to
the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the completed work performed by
Marks Brothers Company under contract dated July 9, 1973, for
the construction of BISCAYNE EAST HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4357 IN
BISCAYNE EAST HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4357 at a:total
cost` of $173/311‘26_11,5ixereWC4ccepted.
Section 2. That the proper officials of the City of
Miamir-Sare':3eeebyrauthorized and directed to: pay Marks Brothers
Company a balance of $92,000.66 as full and final payment
for all work performed and all materials furnished in connec-
tion with the contract for BISCAYNE EAST HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
H-4357 in BISCAYNE EAST HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4357 .
