RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY ATTORNEY TO TERMINATE, BY ANY
APPROPRIATE MEADS, THE CITY OF MIAMI V.
ROBERT P. CONNERS, ET AL., CIVIL ACTION
NO. 74-14217, IF SAID TERMINATION CAN
BE ACCOMPLISHED BY A TOTAL PAYMENT TO
ALL DEFENDANTS, PLUS COSTS, AND ATTORNEYS'
FEES IN AN AMOUNT OF $46,437.50 AND AUTH-
ORIZING AND DIRECTING THE FINANCE DIREC-
TOR OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO ALLOCATE THE
NECESSARY SUMS FOR SAID PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, the Commission of the City of Miami,
Florida finds in the best interest of the City of Miami,
Civil Action No. 74-14217, City of Miami v. Robert P. Conners,
et al., should be terminated if said termination can be
accomplished by a total payment of $46,437.50;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COM-
MISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Attorney is hereby_author-
ized and directed to terminate, by any appropriate means,
Civil Action No. 74-14217, City of Miami v. Robert P. Conners,
et al., if said termination can be accomplished by a total
payment to all Defendants, plus costs and attorneys' fees
in an amount of $46,437.50.
Section 2. The Finance Director of the City of
Miami is hereby authorized and directed to allocate the
sum of $46,437.50 from the 1972 Parks and Recreational
Facilities Bond Funds to accomplish the purpose herein -
before described.
