A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $9,385
FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "PUBLIC PARKS AND
RECREATIONAL BOND FUND" TO COVER THE COST OF
INCREASING THE SCOPE OF WORK AT EDISON PARK
TEEN CENTER - 1973 NOW UNDER CONSTRUCTION
AND ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF METROPOLITAN DADE
COUNTY FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND
URBAN DEVELOPMENT TO REIMBURSE THE CITY
THESE FUNDS WHEN THE WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED
WHEREAS, a contract was awarded to Carl J. Hoenes,
Inc. in July,.1973$or the Edison Park Teen Center,' excluding
Alternate Additive Items for Patio Slabs, Sidewalks, and Sitting
Wall; and
WHEREAS, it is agreed that these items will enhance
the use of the Teen Center; and
WHEREAS, the Contractor has agreed to perform this
work for the original bid provided he is given immediate authoriza-
tion to do so; and
WHEREAS, Metropolitan Dade County Florida Department
of Housing and Urban Development has agreed to reimburse the City
'for the -full amount for this additional work under the present
contract
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the amount of $9,385 be, and it is
hereby, allocated from the account entitled "Public Parks and
Recreational Bond Funds" to cover the cost of additional work
under this contract.
Section 2. That the Metropolitan Dade County
.Florida Department of Housing and Urban Development will reimburse
'the City of Miami in the amount of $9,385 for the construction of
Patio Slabs, Sidewalks, and Sitting Wall. UL4M197L.
