A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER TO PREPARE A STATISTICAL RE-
PORT FOR A SIX-MONTH PERIOD TO INDICATE
THE NUMBER OF CRIMES BY TYPE, SHOWING THE
PERCENTAGE OF ARRESTS FOR EACH CRIME, AVER-
AGE AMOUNT OF TIME SERVED IN JAIL PRIOR TO
TRIAL, CONVICTION RATE, AND SENTENCE TO BE
SERVED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to prepare a statistical report for a six-month period
to indicate the number of crimes by type, showing the percen-
tage of arrests for each crime, average amount of time served
in jail, conviction rate, and sentence to be served.
