A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXTEND THE EXISTING AGREEMENT WITH
STANPORD RESEARCH INSTITUTE F'OR THE
DEVELOPMENT OP A MIAMI MODERN POLICE DEPART-
MENT PROGRAM BEYOND THE ONE YEAR PERIOD
UNTIL ALL MONIES ALLOCATED HAVE BEEN EX-
PENDED.
WHEREAS, since certain economies were achieved by
Stanford Research Institute during the one year period of the
agreement; and
WHEREAS, the agreement will terminate on June 14, 1974
with some allocated monies not utilized by that date; and
WHEREAS, the unexpended monies should be utilized approxi-
mately within one month;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager be authorized to extend
the existing agreement with Stanford Research Institute for the
development of a Miami Modern Police Department Program beyond the
one year period until all monies allocated have b expended.
