A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO EXECUTE A:WRITTEN
AMENDMENT TO THE EXISTING AGREEMENT W3Tff
BOOZ, ALLEN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION SERVICES,
INC. TO PROVIDE FOR AN INCREASE IN THE
SCOPE OF SERVICES OF THE MANAGEMENT SERVICE
AND DATA PROCESSING STUDY AT THE COST OF
$55,000, UTILIZING FUNDS WHICH HAVE BEEN
PROVIDED BY APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE
NO. 8217.
WHEREAS, the City Commission by Resolution No. 74-307
has authorized the City Manager to expand the scope of services
under the agreement with Booz, Allen Public Administration Services
in order to incorporate the additional work elements necessary
to perform an expanded data processing study; and
WHEREAS, Booz, Allen is going to examine the current
computer needs, capabilities and acquisition proposals of city
departments and produce a plan of action for computer system
development; and
WHEREAS, the original agreement with Booz, Allen provided
for the City Manager to make written amendments to the agreement
which would be mutually agreed upon by the city and Booz, Alien;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE. CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager of the City of Miami
be and is hereby authorized to execute a written amendment to the
existing agreement with Booz, Allen Public Administration Services,
Inc. to provide for an increase in the scope of services of the
Management Service and Data Processing Study at a cost of $55,000.
Section 2. That the cost of this increase in the scope
of services, be allocated from budgeted funds provided by
Appropriations Ordinance No. 8217.
