A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID Off' ROYAL GLOBE
INSURANCE COMPANIES, LOCAL AGENT BALDWIN
INSURANCE AGENCY, INC 6 , TO PROVIDE INSURANCE
COVERAGE FOR THE EMPLOYEE FIDELITY, MONEY AND
SECURITIES INSURANCE FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI FOR
A 3-YEAR PERIOD, AT A TOTAL COST OF $6,971.00;
AND AUTHDRIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT
THE PROPER OFFICIALS TO MAKE PAYMENT OF THIS
AMOUNT AFTER FIRST HAVING DETERMINED THAT FUNDS
BUDGETED FOR THIS PURPOSE ARE AVAILABLE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were
received May 20, 1974, to provide insurance coverage for the
Employee Fidelity, Money and Securities Insurance for the City of
Miami for a 3-year period; and
WHEREAS, notices were sent to 66 licensed agents and 11
bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
Royal Globe Insurance Companies, local agent Baldwin Insurance
Agency, Inc., be accepted in the amount of $6,971.00 for a 3-year
premium;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid of Royal Globe Insurance
Companies be, and the same is hereby accepted at a total cost of
$6,971.00 for a 3-year period.
Section 2. That the City Manager be authorized to instruct
the proper officials to make payment of this amount after first
having determined that funds budgeted for this 1-41#111e
urpose are available.
