A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ACTION OF THE CITY
MANAGER IN ASSIGNING MR. LEONARD BISZ, M. A. L ,
TO APPRISE THE PROPERTIES PROPOSED TO BE
ACQUIRED FOR THE AFRICAN SQUARE PORTION OF THE
DR. MARTIN LUTHER SING BOULEVARD PARE PROJECT;
ALLOCATING THE SUM OF $3, 600 mom nmetBi4IC
PART{ AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES BOND FUNDS; AND
AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF THIS $3, 600 TO MR.
LEONARD BISZ FOR HIS APPRAISAL SERVICES.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 74-98, the City Commission accepted
in principle the African Square Linear Park Project and instructed the City
Manager to take the preliminary steps necessary leading to the acquisition
of the properties necessary; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 74-342, tlie-:Commission of the City of
Miami determined that certain property should be acquired for the creation of
the African Square portion of Martin Luther King Boulevard Park; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Leonard Bisz, M.A.I. , Appraiser, was fully
qualified and immediately available to perform the assignment of appraising
the property included in this project area; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bisz has now completed this appraisal assignment
work;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the action of the City Manager in hiring Mr. Leonard
Bisz, M. A.I. , to appriase the properties proposed to be acquired for the African
Square portion of the Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard Park project, is hdreby
confirmed.
Section 2. That the sum of $3, 600 is hereby authorized to be allocated
from the Public Park and Recreational Facilities Bond Funds, to be paid to Mr.
Leonard Bisz, M. A.I. for his appraisal services.
