A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE ACTION TAKEN AS AN
EMERGENCY BY THE CITY MANAGER IN AUTHORIZING
THE ISSUANCE OF A PURCHASE ORDER IN THE AMOUNT
OF $39, 919.99 FOR THE PURCHASE OF SIX (6) GMC
TRUCK CAB AND CHASSIS FROM GMC TRUCK AND COACH
DIVISION; AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 73-951 TO DELETE
THE ACCEPTANCE OF BID ITEM NO. HE-74-2 AND CAN-
CELLING PURCHASE ORDER NO. 56785 ISSUED TO TALLY
EMBRY FORD, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF SIX (6)
FORD TRUCK CAB AND CHASSIS IN THE AMOUNT OF
$47, 988.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the action taken as an emergency by the City
Manager in authorizing the issuance of a purchase order in the amount
of $39, 919. 99 for the purchase of six (6) GMC truck cab and chassis
from GMC Truck & Coach Division be, and the same is hereby ratified.
Section 2. That Resolution No. 73-951 be, and the same is
hereby amended to delete the acceptance of Bid Item No. HE-74-2 .
Section 3. That Purchase Order No. 56785 issued to Tally Embry
Roid; Inc. for the purchase of six (6) Ford truck cab and chassis in the
amount of $47, 988.00, be and the same is hereby cancelled.
