RESOLUTION NO. 7
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED APRZL
19, 1974 FROM AMERICAN SEATING CO. FOR FURNISH-
ING FIVE HUNDRED (500) PLASTIC SEATS AND HARD-
WARE FOR USE IN THE ORANGE BOWL STADIUM AT A
TOTAL COST OF $4,300.00.
WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids were
received April 19, 1974, for furnishing Five Hundred (500)
plastic seats and hardware for use in the Orange Bowl
Stadium; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to fifteen (15) potential
suppliers and one (1) bid was received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
American Seating Co. for furnishing Five Hundred (500)
plastic seats and hardware at a total cost of $4,300.00 be
accepted as the lowest and best responsive bid and further
recommends that the award be made to said company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid received April 19, 1974 from
American Seating Co. for furnishing Five Hundred (500) plastic
seats and hardware for use in the Orange Bowl Stadium at a
total cost of $4,300.00 be and the same is hereby accepted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this de -a day of "P7,69 0/
