A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED APRIL
17, 1974 FROM EQUIPMENT & FURNITURE CO., INC.
FOR FURNISHING ELEVEN (11) HIGH BACK LOUNGE
CHAIRS FOR USE BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AT A TOTAL
COST OF $1,571.566
WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids were
received April 17, 1974 for furnishing eleven (11) high back
lounge chairs for use by the Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to eleven (11) poten-
tial suppliers and two (2) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of ^q
Equipment & Furniture Co., Inc. for furnishing eleven (11)
high back lounge chairs at a total cost of $1,571.56 be
accepted as the lowest and best responsive bid and further
recommends that the award be made to said company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid received April 17, 1974 from
Equipment & Furniture Co., Inc. for furnishing eleven (11)
high back lounge chairs for use by the Fire Department at a
total cost of $1,571.56 be and the same is hereby accepted.
