A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR
OP FINANCE TO PAY TO THOMAS BERRY
WITHOUT THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE
SUM OF $750.00 IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLE-
MENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE
CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A RE-
LEASE RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL
CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, THOMAS BERRY filed a claim against the City
of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $750.00 for
personal injury and auto repairs caused by striking a hole
in the street at or near 1300 N.W. 65tb. Street, in the City
of Miami, on September 28, 1973, and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for the sum of $750.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to THOMAS BERRY without the admission
of Liability, the sum of $750.00 in full and complete settlement
of all claims and demands against the City of Miami, upon the ex-
ecution of a release releasing the City of Miami from all claims
and demands.
